Newsletter Week 9, Term 2, 2026 Arbor Day Tree Planting at Tauhara Park

Hamilton City Council is excited to bring back Bike to Sport this year, encouraging more kids and parents to bike to their Saturday sports games. They will be at Gallagher Hockey Centre on 13 June, Discovery Park on 20 June, and Elliott Park on 27 June rewarding everyone who turns up to their game by bike. The team with the most members who bike will win Ninja Valley passes for their team to enjoy! Gordon from Alba Bikes will also be at Gallagher Hockey and Discovery Park offering basic bike checks. Project update: Morrinsville Road Fit for Purpose Upgrades

The peanut-shaped roundabout and shared path is opening earlier than planned, on Friday evening, 15 May.

The improvements were completed under budget (budget: $6.4m for stage 1). The overall project budget is $11m.

This week we celebrate Support Staff Week, and we want to acknowledge the incredible hard mahi of our support staff. They are the heart of our kura, working tirelessly behind the scenes to support our students, whaanau and staff every single day. Their care, dedication, and commitment make our jobs possible, and our school community is stronger because of them.

We will be holding a ballot on Friday, 12th June 2026 for out of zone enrolments to begin in Term 3.
