Our hearts are so full right now 🐾💛
A tiny 10 day old kitten was found abandoned at Kindy, and what has followed has been nothing short of beautiful. Our incredible tamariki have stepped into their roles as true kaitiaki, showing the most gentle, caring, and nurturing hands as they look after this precious little life.
She has been showered with cuddles, warmth, and so much aroha every single day. It’s been so special to watch the children’s empathy and responsibility shine through in such a natural and heartfelt way.
We are also so grateful for the kindness of our community, two of our wonderful families have generously brought in kitten food, milk, and flea treatment to help give this little bundle the very best start.
Such a tiny kitten, surrounded by such big love 💕

Sadly, on Friday 12th December, Kindyz of Queenwood will be saying goodbye and bon voyage to our wonderful Ting.
Ting and her family are heading off to Munich, Germany, to begin an exciting new adventure on the other side of the world.
Nine years ago, Ting first joined us as a student at Kindy Tweenz and we loved her so much that as soon as she completed her degree, we snapped her up to join the Kindyz of Queenwood teaching team. For the past eight years, Ting has poured her heart into her work at Kindy Tweenz, becoming an integral part of Kindy.
Ting has taught with passion, energy, and endless enthusiasm. We have all benefited from her incredible Mandarin support, teaching children and teachers alike a new language, sharing stories, and bringing the joy of Chinese New Year and many other important Chinese traditions into our Kindy.
Her kindness and calm presence have supported countless tamariki and families over the years, helping tamariki settle and thrive while at Kindy. Ting has helped shape the hearts and minds of so many tamariki, and her baking will always be remembered especially on rainy days.
While we are very sad to see her go, we are also so excited for her and her family as they embark on this new journey.
Ting, thank you for everything. You will always be part of our Kindy whanau. We wish you all the best as you begin this next adventure.
