💙 Pukete Kapa Haka 💙

Ka mau te wehi! On Friday, our Junior and Senior Kapa Haka rōpū came together for a joint session, performing for one another, sharing the learning that has taken place so far this term. It was a fantastic opportunity for our junior tamariki to see what they can aspire to, while our senior tamariki reflected on how far they have come. It was also wonderful to see so many siblings, cousins and friends enjoying watching one another.

Ms Hartley, Mrs Peters and Trish popped in to watch and they were incredibly impressed by how much both rōpū have grown and improved. We can't wait to share this awesome mahi with our whānau some time next term. Watch this space!

🚴‍♂️ Battle of the Schools Success! 🚴‍♀️

Battle of the Schools - 194 participants, 25 schools and 56 teams.

What an amazing day of racing for our Pukete Sprinters and Speedsters! Vadim, Nate, Tommy, Marley, Ollie, and Alex all achieved personal bests, showing incredible improvement after six weeks of hard work and training.

The boys represented Pukete with pride, demonstrating determination and teamwork as they supported each other throughout the day. Well done, Team Pukete!

A huge thank you to all the supporters who came along to cheer, and a special shout-out to the boys’ wonderful whānau for their support, also behind the scenes. Lastly, thank you to Mrs Hanks for supporting this cycling team to achieve such success.

🏃🌧 MUD, MUD AND MORE MUD! 🌧🏃🏽‍♀️

The Pukete tamariki had an awesome day out at the Mud Run in Ngāruawāhia on Tuesday!

The overnight rain made the course extra muddy, and a few early showers certainly added to the challenge. Despite the conditions, our students tackled every obstacle with enthusiasm, determination and plenty of smiles.

It was fantastic to see our tamariki demonstrating the Pukete virtues throughout the day - encouraging one another, showing resilience, giving things a go, and having heaps of fun along the way.

Miss Peers and Mrs Andersen were incredibly proud of the amazing behaviour, positive attitudes and teamwork shown by all the children. They were outstanding ambassadors for our school.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success!

Lost Property:
We have a small amount of lost property that made its way back to school, including:
• A black jacket
• An umbrella
• A chair!
If any of these items belong to your whānau, please get in touch with Miss Peers.

Well done, Pukete tamariki - we are so proud of you!
