We are at The University of Waikato Open Day in Hamilton today. It's a beautiful, sunny day - perfect for welcoming our learners from across the region. The College offers pathways and foundation studies for both domestic and international learners to help start their journey at the university. Come say hello if you are on campus.

Some of the Waikato College students from Japan 🇯🇵 had an amazing time today visiting Te Kura Toi - School of Arts - University of Waikato for a Japanese language tutorial! 🇯🇵📚 It was a fantastic opportunity to meet with Waikato mainstream students and share Japanese culture.

Last week, we welcomed ten agent partners from China to our College. They were visiting The University of Waikato as part of an Education New Zealand familiarisation visit. Our partners also visited the Hamilton Night Market on campus along with our Student Ambassador, Isabella.

Last week, we hosted our wonderful agent partners from Vietnam and Cambodia along with colleagues from Navitas. Our visitors got a glimpse of what the Mighty Waikato has to offer, with a trip to Waitomo Caves and Marakopa Falls, followed by a visit to The University of Waikato Hamilton campus.

One of the highlights for our partners was hearing from our Vietnamese and Cambodian students about their experience of living and studying in Hamilton. Students are at the heart of everything we do, and it shows in the success we have of ensuring students pathway into the programme of their choice. And we really turned on the weather for them too, which is no easy task.

We have two new Student Ambassadors joining the College -Isabella and Azhar. Isabella and Azhar completed their Diploma in Postgraduate Preparation at UWC and are now pursuing their Master of Management at the University. Welcome back to the College, Isabella and Azhar.
