💕 A special farewell today for our Japanese students from 南山大学/Nanzan University as they depart Hamilton and return home.

It has been wonderful to see the strong bonds they have formed with their homestay parents during their time in New Zealand. These connections and shared experiences are such an important part of the international student journey and create memories that last a lifetime.

We wish them safe travels and all the very best for the future. Thank you to our amazing homestay families for making students feel so welcome and supported. 💙

Margaret Naufahu, Academic Director at University of Waikato College, gives you an insight into how we prepare students for university. Our teaching and assessment approach are in line with The University of Waikato, making the pathway into higher levels of study really smooth for our students. Margaret talks about an informal toolkit of skills that we equip students with over the course of their study at the College which sets them apart from other students. 😇

🎨✨ Our Elementary class students and teacher Dwayne had a fantastic time at the De-Stress Fest Paint 'n' Sip event at The Pā, hosted by the University of Waikato Wellbeing Hub.

It was a wonderful opportunity to relax, get creative, and connect with others while enjoying a fun morning. Thank you to the Wellbeing Hub for welcoming and supporting our international students! 💙
