This Mother’s Day, my art friend Sandra and I are setting up a little art market inside my studio for a few hours. I’ll have my new Hamilton Gardens Floating Dream puzzle, some Van Gogh pillowcases, and a few of my watercolours, both original paintings and reproductions.
Come by, have a look, and maybe find a special gift. Hope to see you there!

When a painting is collected, it is not only a recognition of the work, but also a way of preserving the beautiful time spent creating it.
I’m so happy it has found a new home.
Thank you to the gallery for the support. I hope more beautiful works will also find their new homes.

Hamilton Gardens is a very special place for my family and me. Since we moved to New Zealand 14 years ago, we have loved it deeply. It feels like a magical place where different cultures come together and somehow live so beautifully here in Hamilton.
I often took my three children there to play. For them, it was a place to run around and happily get lost. For me, it was not only a place to chase after my children, but also an idea bank, somewhere I could withdraw inspiration whenever I needed it.
Floating Dream became the cover image not only for this exhibition catalogue, but also for a children’s book I am currently working on. The other two watercolours are also studies based on scenes from the book. I am still writing the story, so it is not finished yet, but I hope to complete and publish it by the end of this year or next year. At this rate, if the gardens keep changing, I may have to make it a series.
The Art of Hamilton Gardens opened on 17 April 2026 and runs until 5 June, so there is still plenty of time to visit. I have three pieces in the exhibition.
A sincere thank you to Dorcy, Clive, and the staff at for giving artists such a meaningful platform to support children and their families in the Waikato who are facing incredibly difficult circumstances. It gives our artworks a new purpose and deeper meaning.
