End of an era ✨️

Hey everyone, Dani here! 👋 This is officially my last post as the Employer Engagement Lead in the Careers team. I'm moving on to a new role in the University next week.

What a ride it has been! I started just before the first COVID lock downs, so its certainly been a journey haha.

If you've been a follower of ours for a while, deepest apologies to you for all the old cringe worthy trying to be cool Insta reels 😅🫣 I think I've managed to either delete or archive, so hopefully they're now lost in the ether.

You have an absolutely incredible team here to support you on your career journey. Each one of them have so much passion for what they do and genuinely care about helping you to achieve career success. So please if you need help, dont be afraid to reach out 🤍

Earlier this week, our team collaborated with to host an International Career Ready Day, designed specifically for our International students, to help prepare them for career success in Aotearoa New Zealand 👏

From learning te reo Maori introductions to hearing career insights from Waikato Alumni, employer perspectives and how volunteering can help to gain NZ work experience; the day was packed with inspiration and practical tips!

Nga mihi nui to everyone who attended, participated and got involved! It was a such an empowering event and we cant wait to host more events like it ✨️

We would like to wish you all of you the best of luck with your exams and assignments over the coming weeks 🫶
