Our alumni students did us proud over King’s Birthday weekend.
The Waikato U20 women’s team played so awesome during the Nationals Tournament in Porirua. They beat Tauranga in the pools game but narrowly lost to Tauranga by 1 point for 3rd and 4th placings.
Our Waikato U18 women’s team and Waikato U16 women’s teams finished 1st place at Regionals and our Waikato U16 men’s team came 3rd. Congratulations to these teams for qualifying for Nationals in the July holidays.

✨✨✨✨✨EXCITING NEWS✨✨✨✨
On Sunday afternoon a group of 25 cycling enthusiasts came to our kura to assemble several bicycles for our tamariki☺️These volunteers ride for cycling clubs around the Waikato and Auckland area and they took time out of their busy lives to do this service for our school community. We are so grateful to these wonderful people.
There are 30 bicycles altogether. These are the sizes and costs per bike.
🚲10 APEX PEAK 16" FIRESTORM RED at $260 each
🚲 10 APEX TERRAIN 20" STEALTH MATTE BLACK at $510 each
🚲 10 APEX TERRAIN 24" STEALTH MATTE BLACK at $580 each
In total these bikes cost over $11,000 and everything was funded by RIDE HOLIDAYS 👏🏽🙌🏽✨ Not only did a whole lot of volunteers assemble these 30 bicycles for FREE but it was all paid for by Ride Holidays. Which means our kura and tamariki got these awesome bikes for FREE🙏🏾 This is so amazing!
Our tamariki will receive bike safety lessons in their classes throughout the year and more of our tamariki can participate in our annual school triathlon. I think we need a school bike track now😉 We want to thank Gordon and his band of volunteers for assembling the bikes and Karl from Ride Holidays for providing the funding.
