🎭 Ppuppenmam Puppet Theatre from Korea 🎭
We were honoured to welcome the famous Korean puppet theatre Ppuppenmam to New Zealand for a special performance.
They presented “The Adventure of Jumeok-i,” a heartwarming story about a small child who travels around the world, discovering courage and wonder along the way.
The children truly enjoyed this delightful show, filled with creativity, laughter, and imagination.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again to Ppuppenmam Puppet Theatre for bringing such a meaningful performance all the way from Korea. 🇰🇷✨

We had a water gun play event at the Korean school. Since the children had been looking forward to it, everyone had a great time, and the event ended safely without any incidents. The water gun play is an annual event at the Korean school, aimed at providing cool refreshment and relieving stress.

In anticipation of the upcoming Chuseok holiday next month, we engaged in various traditional games today. The event culminated in a tug-of-war, where even the students' parents participated. In the end, the Blue Team emerged victorious. A big thank you to all the students for giving their best effort and finishing the event without any injuries.

Today, we conducted an earthquake drill. New Zealand is a country prone to earthquakes, making such drills essential. The teachers instructed us on how to respond in the event of an earthquake. It's best if such incidents never occur.

In 2023, the Waikato Korean School will be entering its holiday period. The last day was marked with various events. These included a Swap Market, a group photo session, food-making activities by the Goryeo and Chosun classes, as well as a holiday and award ceremony. Most importantly, 2023 marks the end of our time at Wintec, as we move to a new home. We look forward to seeing everyone healthy and well in 2024.
