On Friday, 25 September, we will be holding a special “Who We Are” Cultural Celebration to celebrate the rich diversity, unique backgrounds, cultures and identities that make our school community so special.

Our goal is for every child to feel proud of their unique story and to learn more about the wonderful cultures and backgrounds of their peers. Standard school uniform will not be required on this day.

Hamilton City Council Love Your Bike Day 2026!

When: Saturday 3 October, 10am - midday
Where: Hillcrest Stadium, 19 Cambridge Road, Hillcrest

Celebrate cycling with a fun-filled morning of activities for children and families. Whether you're a confident rider or just starting out, there's something for everyone.

Reminder

This Wednesday is Parent Open Afternoon.

All classrooms are open from 3:15 pm - 5:30 pm for parents to come through with their child/ren so they can share their learning with you.

It's a drop in session so no appointments necessary.

Today at assembly we celebrated students who are creative, athletic. Our first equal placings for the Murray McDonald Speech Cup presented their winning speeches to the school. Our Clan Leaders presented their certificates, Our Ambassadors presented their values awards and we recognised 2 outstanding Road Patrollers, Mr Wallbank recognised the Interschool Cross Country team and gave out the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placing certificates. We celebrated the classrooms with the highest attendance for the week and Taniwha Awhi made his way to his new classroom for the next week, in recognition of the classes with the most amazing assembly manners.

Summer Hockey - Important Notice.

PLEASE NOTE I NEED A COACH/MANAGER FOR BOTH A YEAR 3/4 TEAM AND A YEAR 5/6 TEAM.

Without volunteers, Linda will not be able to enter these teams. No practices are required; just someone to organise the team on Tuesday night and umpire.

We had an unexpected fire evacuation during our ceremony so things are running late.

If you are at school please enjoy the food trucks, bouncy castles and face painting.

We will be out soon to start the lunchtime concert.
