๐จ NEW IMMIGRATION UPDATE
Immigration New Zealand has released its latest estimate of people currently overstaying their visas in New Zealand.
๐ณ๐ฟ As at 1 July 2026, approximately 19,153 people were estimated to be overstayers.
๐ This is around 8.7% lower than last yearโs published estimate, although INZ says part of the reduction is due to refinements in how the estimate is calculated.
๐ฎ๐ณ India ranks 4th, with an estimated 1,522 overstayers.

Important reminder: Always keep track of your visa expiry date and apply for your next visa before your current visa expires.
