Over 100 entries. Two powerful messages. One awesome Shoe Day Presentation!

Last night we had the privilege of celebrating one of the four categories of Tamaiti Pasifika Celebration (TPC) — the Shoe Design Category.

This category was developed by T**A to give our primary and intermediate students a creative platform to share their artistic skills while sharing powerful messages with their peers.

As our T**A Directors mentioned, it’s more than just the design of the shoe — it represents the greater purpose of ensuring our children have what they need to protect their feet, while reminding them that the path they walk in life truly matters.

The 2025 theme was "Be proud and confident in who you are - share a positive message to your peers".

2025 Primary Winner from Te Totara Primary School – Raidon Blanché: His design was to share what he loves and treasures and his message “You only lose when you give up”

2025 Intermediate Winner from Fairfield Intermediate – Siosifa Taiese: His design was a representation of his strong Pasifika heritage and his message “Walk in Confidence, Lead with Kindness”

Thank you for being a part of the Magic, it was a special evening celebrating our winners and their whaanau.

As shared on the night by MOE Mefi “When we protect our feet, we protect the foundation of our body.” — a reminder of how important this kaupapa is for our young people.
