Medieval Carnival - Waikato Waldorf School Sunday 15th March, 2026, 10am to 3pm
85 Barrington Drive, Rototuna says event organisers. "Every year we aim to make the event bigger and better.

The carnival is a unique event in Hamilton's calendar, and is popular with a large spectrum of people outside the Waldorf community. It's an opportunity, not only to fund-raise for the students, but also an educational and entertaining fun experience for the whole family. The carnival has just about everything imaginable to interest children and adults from sword fighting, metalworking, pottery, activities such as jewelry making and panning for crystals to live entertainment, wholesome home-baked goodies and beautiful handcrafts for sale.

“It's all a lot of fun, and the kids get so much out of it, they've always got something to do."

The trumpets are sounding and the village gates are wide open Carnival Day is finally here! After months of the community pouring their hearts, hammers, and high spirits into the preparations, the kingdom is officially alive with magic.
