We were lucky enough to have Hamilton Girls High school and Hamilton Boys high school come into school today to help us Celebrate Cook island language week! It’s so much more Heartwarming seeing our ex students come back and perform too 🥹

Two of our netball teams were lucky enough to have a training session with former Magic & Silver Ferns player, Sam Winders. She taught them all about the importance of warming up to prevent injury and how they can do this in their own trainings. The girls had a lot of fun and we are super appreciative of you Sam, thank you!
Our Peachgrove Rugby 7's boys have been competing at the WIMS competition today, against other Intermediate and Middle Schools in the Waikato. Well done to both our teams.
We are super proud of the Open Weight team, who are currently playing in the semi-finals. All the best!

We’re looking forward to celebrating Cook Island Language Week here at Peachgrove. Our students can look forward to an exciting week filled with amazing activities organised by our Cook Island cultural team.
The 2026 theme for Cook Islands Māori Language Week (’Epetoma o te reo Māori Kūki ’Āirani) is:
“Me kite koe i te tuatua i tō'ou reo tūpuna, e tūranga rangatira tēnā nō'ou nō te uki ā muri atu.”
"With our language as our foundation, we will embrace the future."
