Fairfield Intermediate International Department

Today a selection of students visited pokoro school. It is a small rural school outside Te Awamutu. Here, the students experienced a programme centred around nature and connection. It was an incredible opportunity for our international students, and we wholeheartedly thank the Pokoro school community.

Well done to Chofu Kita on an incredible visit! Sports, cooking, farm visits, and a whole lot more. You were wonderful. A massive thank you to all involved, we wish you all safe travels, and hope you all come back. Big thanks to all who have helped and supported Chofu Kita, from home stays to student buddies, without everyone, these experiences could not happen. FIS team

Suguru Minoya, the Consul General of Japan in Auckland, visited Fairfield yesterday! Thank you for your heartfelt and encouraging speech and for joining us for our Just Dance P.E session 💃🕺

Welcome Saitama City! Our sister city students are visiting for their annual trip to New Zealand. We had an amazing Whakatau this morning, followed by wonderful performances by our Pasifika and Kapa Haka groups!

Today we farewelled a group of students and what better way to do so than with song and dance! Thank you to our FIS students who have helped make our international students feel welcomed and at home during their visit!
