Responsive Trade Education RTE offers a number of courses to support people on their career path. Workplace Training* - Fully funded for businesses that want to up-skill their employees.

RTE programmes:
- Employment Services Programme - Employment Placement for W&I clients
- Workplace Training Programmes - customised work place training for empowering workplaces Youth Course 16-19yrs* – A fun environment where you’ll gain NCEA Level 2, learn hands-on skills, and be part of a great team. On completion, you will gain NCEA Level 2 and a New Zealand Certificate in Building, Construction and Allied Trade Skills Level 2. We’ll help you get your licence, make a CV and pathway you into further study or the workforce. Employment Services* – A programme that prepares, places and supports Work & Income clients into employment. We help with CVs, Cover letters, Career planning, Interview skills, Goal setting, Confidence building, Driver’s licences and much more! Delivery is customised around the needs of the company and employees, in areas such as mental health, stress management, production, time management, literacy and numeracy, and much more! All of these programmes are fees free and you can start anytime!

Many people already have strengths that matter in the workplace - reliability, life experience, willingness to learn, people skills and a genuine readiness to work. But after time away from work, difficult experiences or repeated setbacks, it can be hard to recognise those strengths with confidence. At RTE, our Employment Services team helps people identify what they already bring, build confidence and prepare to take the next step toward work. Work-readiness is not only about skills on paper.
