🥜 Where to next for Pic’s Peanut Butter?
Join us for the 53rd Waikato Management School Case Competition, proudly sponsored by PwC!
📅 Wednesday 8 October
🕠 5:30pm
📍 The Pā, University of Waikato
Top student teams will present bold strategies for the future of Pic’s — In 2007, Pic Picot shook up New Zealand’s peanut butter scene with his natural, no-nonsense spread. By 2025, Pic’s was the market leader, exporting to Australia and China from its cutting-edge Peanut Butter World. With new CEO Aimee McCammon at the helm and a major investment from Australia’s Scalzo Foods, Pic’s is ready for its next big move.
Come along to see innovation in action, support our students, and be part of the buzz! 🥜✨

The focus of this year's WMS Case Competition is Shift72, a powerhouse Kiwi company based in Hamilton that's now the global market leader in providing a video-on-demand (VOD) streaming platform for some of the world's most prestigious film festivals, such as Cannes and Sundance.
Shift72 Founder and CEO David White says, "We've got the product, we've got the foundations, and now we are really focusing back on innovation ... we just have to make sure we're always evolving."
But the question is, how exactly should they do that?
Our students have been set the challenge of developing a five-year growth strategy for Shift72 that will help them expand into other hybrid events such as music concerts and conferences, and increase their market dominance.
This Wednesday, the four finalist teams will present their strategies to a panel of expert judges, plus everyone watching at home via the livestream on 13 October, starting at 6.30pm..
