Following the tragic and untimely passing of a young person at Te Awamutu train stop last Sunday, our community will come together to support their whānau, friends and loved ones at a day-time vigil this weekend.

Everyone is welcome to attend and take a moment to remember, reflect and stand together.

For everyone’s safety, please remain in the designated public area and stay away from railway tracks and railway property. Please follow the directions of event organisers and officials.

Our thoughts are with the whānau and all those affected at this difficult time. 💛

The Junior Council is running a Wig Wednesday event for the whole school this Wednesday, 23rd September, to support the Child Cancer Foundation and raise some much-needed funds.
1.) Students can wear a wig, a silly hat or style their hair a bit crazy in support of this kaupapa. (Please note this is not a mufti day - uniform as normal)
2.) Make a small donation. This can be done by bringing a gold coin to school on Wednesday for collection or using the fundraising page link: https://wigwednesday.org.nz/o/fraser-high-school
