ECLIPSE provides both standard and specialist tailored training packages that are designed to be transformational by igniting mindset change and expanding the workforce capability of front facing family violence response personnel. ECLIPSE founder and Director Debbs Murray has a Bachelor of Applied Science with a Psychology Major and has personally developed the Practitioner-Victim Insight Concept (PVIC) © training, which includes Coercove Control - The Umbrella Tactic, Rewards Based Phenomenon, Layers of Consequence, Invisible Walls and Whole of Person Entrapment© as well as the ECLIPSE training packages. Debbs is a specialist family violence practitioner having worked for 20 years within and across the family violence sector in New Zealand, and she is also a survivor of family violence. Debbs presents an interconnected professional perspective of survivor and practitioner, by openly sharing her personal story of lived experience, and inviting an interactive ‘no holds barred’ training environment. ECLIPSE believes it is time to implement critical new response tools and methodologies, to further upskill the family violence sector and our communities to take ownership of our national tragedy. Together we can continue to collectively change the face of our national family violence responsivity.
