🛏️ Get creative with your bedding! A nice set of flannelette sheets, an extra throw, or a lovely wool blanket make even the coldest Waikato nights warm and toasty!

🔥 Close your curtains to keep the heat in! Our fixed heaters warm up the rooms wonderfully, but keeping your curtains drawn in the evenings will help trap the heat.

💡 Thought about mood lighting? Skip the LEDs - sunset lamps are the way to go nowadays! Pick up a sunset lamp and bring a bit of ambience to your personal space.

Meet Jomidha, known affectionately as Jo here at the Hatch Student Village!

Jo’s a new residential leader for the year and has come in to look after students living in Hakiramata block.

She’s settled into the Village and has quickly learned how to balance being a student and RL, thanks to the help of coffee! ☕

While she loves being here at Hatch and helping students succeed in their home life as well as their academic life, she has big dreams to travel the world with her mates one day. 🎉
