If you’re looking to get out with your new baby, meet other parents, and enjoy weekly sessions full of music, stories, craft, play, and great conversation, we’ve got sessions for you at our big, beautiful Nawton Playcentre.

Space is a lovely 30-week programme where you will enjoy heuristic play, music and movement, books, crafts and facilitated discussions around parenting and development. Space is a great way to enjoy some special time with your baby while meeting other parents with little ones of a similar age in a relaxed, safe and nurturing environment

Your Space journey doesn't have to end when your programme finishes. If you've enjoyed learning alongside your pēpi through Space, why not discover Playcentre?

Join us during Playcentre Open Week (17-21 August) and experience a welcoming community where whānau and tamariki play, learn and grow together. Playcentre supports children from birth to six years, so you can continue your child's learning journey while building lasting friendships and connections in your local community.

Many families choose to attend Playcentre while they're enrolled in SPACE, while others transition to Playcentre after their SPACE programme ends. Families are welcome to visit up to three times before enrolling in Playcentre.

Looking for a supportive place to spend quality time with your baby? We have 4 spots available in our popular and centrally located St Andrews Playcentre Space group, held on Fridays from 12.30pm–2.30pm.
This group is for babies born in April, May, and June and starts this week!
You'll be supported by our fabulous facilitators; Kathy Rollo and Penny Matich. Kathy brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge, while Penny is known for her calm and empathetic approach.
