The children take care in looking after their environment.
Here they are making sure that the cars are cleaned so that we can play with them the next day.

In the Kowhaiwhai room we love celebrating birthdays. So when there are no birthdays we have to make up our own.
With the playdough this morning the babies had pipe cleaners, sticks and other decorations, so proceeded to make cakes and sing “ happy birthday “.

The children have shown a strong interest in playing with cars, so we explored car painting by rolling toy cars through paint to create colourful tracks and patterns.
After the activity, the children enjoyed washing the cars together, encouraging creativity, sensory exploration, and responsibility while caring for our resources.

Today, the children enjoyed spending time outdoors, exploring and engaging with their environment. They ran, climbed, balanced, and played together, developing their gross motor skills, coordination, and confidence.

The children have shown a strong interest in hot air balloons, so we decided to create our own. This experience encouraged their creativity, imagination, and curiosity as they explored how hot air balloons look and how they work.

Our babies are making connections between people , places, and things in their world .

The children explored a variety of recycled and loose parts during our junk construction experience. They eagerly selected materials such as cardboard boxes, tubes, bottle caps, containers, and other recyclable items to design and create their own unique constructions.
