This week, we have The Halloween Nail Art course from to give away! Please support our wonderful sponsors by giving them a follow, like and comment 😃

This week's Side Quest is being run by and so over to them -

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, it's to create 5 nails, with one nail being character art.

The rules:
- 1 nail must have a character
- The other 4 nails MUST contain something that is to do with that character. Some examples: Winnie the Pooh - honey pot, bees, red balloons. Unicorn - rainbow, sparkles, flowers. Cinderella - glass slipper, pumpkin, fairy
- Nails can be on tips or on a human
- Character can be as basic or as detailed as you like
- You have until 11:59pm on Monday 5 October to get entries in and the winner will be announced in the comments of this post.
- Entry must be posted to your own account, screenshotted and linked in the comments on this post
- Winner will be chosen by how well the 4 nails correspond to the character that was chosen

The heir to the Orly Boutique throne but the outright QUEEN of 3D - Abigail Frickleton is going to blow your socks off on Day 2 of Summit 2027!

As the daughter of Day 1 presenter Melody Hatch, I KID that Abigail is a nepo baby but you know what? That means on top of her years of training (including some in the US!) and her many MANY awards, YOU get the benefit of her growing up inside a nail salon and nearly eclipsing all of our other presenters with her years-in-salon experience!

I think we're pretty bloody lucky and no one is as obsessed with mixed media and 3D art than this gal.

FAQ - Can I have room 406?

Ok, so some backstory - last year Room 406 had a massage chair in their room - the only massage chair anyone had. What started as 'come and see the chair' quickly turned into 'and have some drinks after class' and 406 became a wee bit of an afterparty hub.

This has led to some people desperate to be IN 406 next year, and some people terrified 😅

So first of all, when you register for Summit, you can choose shared accommodation, private accommodation, or sort-your-own accommodation.

When people register for 2027, they fill out a pre-attendance survey. This includes the question 'If you have selected Shared Accommodation, would you like a) a social room where you ARE the party and everyone comes over, b ) a social room but you GO to the party and can leave, or c) a quiet room.

With that info, we will then put people in the rooms best suited to their request, and try to pair them up with others we think they will get along with.

One of the larger rooms, which doesn't have a massage chair but DOES have a full lounge and kitchen, will be designated the new 406. Anyone will be able to go there after class to socialise, with no new entries after 10pm (and of course respecting other hotel guests with their noise levels).

Attendees who requested quiet rooms will be given those!
