On Thursday 30 April, a group of Nawton School students from our Pasifika and Drama groups had the exciting opportunity to attend Fraser High School’s production, The Groove Museum, held in their new BNZ Theatre.

The show was set in a museum where the exhibits magically came to life, taking the audience on a vibrant journey through culture and storytelling. It celebrated the rich traditions of Samoa, Tonga, the Cook Islands, Hawai‘i, the Philippines, and Aotearoa, weaving together powerful performances that highlighted the uniqueness of each culture.

Our students were truly captivated by the experience. From the live music and energetic dancing to the impressive acting and stunning costumes, every element of the production was delivered with passion and precision. The overall energy in the theatre was incredible, and it was inspiring to see such a high-quality performance.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in creating such a polished and engaging show. It was a memorable experience for our students and one they will not forget anytime soon.
