Thank you to Toby and his tickers coming down to our competition class, and for Toby FitzPatrick for awarding Eben his purple.

Eben has grown from being a tough roll, to someone who is a real problem for just about anyone he encounters.

Over the last year we've seen him solidify elements of his game into a definable style built around triangles from just about every conceivable entry. Ontop of that, hes got a nasty armbar and has incorporated some nasty leg lock Technique to further expand his game.

A pleasure and a curse to share the mats with you, well done 👏

Great weekend at Riverside, our 1st women's open mat done and dusted, huge thank you to everyone attended, and for running the session.

Well done also to .wizard who took gold in his division at the adcc aukland open, with 3 submissions, showing some nice improvement on his finishing mechanics.

Join us Sunday the 7th of June at 10am for a woman's only open mat.

Open to all experience levels, you don't have to be a member to participate, just let us know you're coming ahead of time 😊

In an effort to maintain a consistent class size, as well as to enable our instructors to deliver the best possible classes, we will be closing registration for kids memberships from sunday the 10th of May.

If you are currently trialing, and intend to sign up, please do so before that date, otherwise your child may miss out.

If you are interested but have not trialed, we have Wednesday and friday this week available for trials.

Enrollment for teens remains open.

Mean couple days ahead of us for jiu jitsu!

Delving further into crucifix in our submission class, whilst our beginners course gets to grips with abit of guard work!

Saturday we have our comp class in the morning, where we'll be doing high intensity positional rounds, then its straight into open mat.
