We are so grateful for all of the beautiful relationships that we have formed through preschool and hope that everyone in our community is going on to form some beautiful new beginnings. ❤️🐿️🌳

Kia Ora koutou,

Friday will be our last day of operation. We are open from 8-4:30 and any of our past whanau who would like to pop in one last time are welcome to come farewell Preschool.

Kia ora whanau,

With the sale of our property, we will sadly close Seven Oaks Preschool with our last day of operation being the 1st of August.

All of our past and present whanau are welcome to join us on Wednesday the 18th of June from 4-6pm for a Matariki celebration to reflect on the journey we have shared together and celebrate new possibilities for the future.

Our kaiako and tamariki are holding a pink ribbon pancake breakfast tomorrow to raise money and awareness for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

I'm fundraising for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, to help fund breast cancer education, research and patient support. Please donate to help the 3,500 Kiwis diagnosed with breast cancer each year in NZ.

Happy Easter from Seven Oaks Preschool!

We hope that everyone has enjoyed a lovely long weekend with their loved ones.

Our tamariki explored easter themes this week by decorating rock 'eggs' and creating egg hunts with their peers, baking together and decorating playdough eggs and easter baskets.

Nga tamariki are very proud to announce that this past weekend they won 3rd place in the school category at the Little River Pumpkin festival.

What a great effort by the kaiako and tamariki in planting, and caring for their pumpkins!

Our Kaiako would like to thank our community so much for your incredible support, donations and joining us for a walk at Halswell Quarry as we took part in the Ronald McDonald House to House Challenge.

Your kindness means an awful lot to us and we are incredibly proud to donate $755 to the appeal. We know this will be gratefully appreciated by the families that are in the need of using Ronald McDonald House when they have to be away from home with their sick child. What a humbling feeling knowing that Seven Oaks Whānau have been able to support them during a very stressful time.

As a team we set out to reach 210km over the month, but we totally smashed that with a grand total of 863KM!!! We have biked, walked, ran, been to the gym, and even completed pilates classes. This has been a great experience and really made us think how we can get in our K's each day.
