Dear Parents/Caregivers,

I regretfully inform you that due to increasing cost’s and declining bookings/enrollment’s over the last couple of years Mataura Afterschool and Holiday Programme is no longer viable and will be closing.

Our last day of operation will be Friday 8th July 2022.

I would appreciate outstanding accounts to be paid immediately.

Our last day for 2021 will be Wednesday 15th December.

Our holiday programme will be from Monday 24th to Friday 28th January with lots of fun activities, We will reopen for term 1 on Thursday 3rd February 2022.

WANTED CASUAL CHILDCARE SUPERVISER!!

Are you passionate about working with primary school aged children? Reliable? Mature?
If so we have an afterschool casual childcare supervisor position available at Mataura Afterschool & Holiday Programme.

You will be interacting with the children & ensuring their safety, doing food preparation, cleaning, arts & crafts, sports activities & helping with homework.

The successful applicant will be mature minded, friendly, fun & able to relate well with children & their caregivers. Will be able to pass a pre-employment Police check & complete a child protection online course with safegaurdingchildren.org.nz before being offered employment.

First aid certificate would be an advantage.

Must be available to work at short notice 5 days a week (Mon -Fri) 2.50pm - 5.50pm during the school term & also during the first week of the school holidays 8.00am - 6.00pm.

The role would suit someone with previous childcare experience, a teacher aide, Parent or even a student aged 16 or over.

Hello parents/caregivers, MAP will be resuming normal hours from Thursday 9th 2.50pm-5.50pm.
Our drop off/pickup system will be different under covid-19 level 2.
As per mataura school protocol parents/caregivers are not to enter school grounds unless necessary. We are asking that you ring or text when you arrive at the school gate and we will bring your child/ren out to you.
