You've probably seen the hype about "The Cemetery Club" at Company Theatre NZ. Believe it!

I was lucky enough to go to the preview night of Company Theatre's "The 39 Steps" last night.

What a treat! Such innovative staging played with a great humour by the multi-talented cast. One of the audience members was astounded that there were actually only four in the cast - she thought there were many! A testament to their skill.

I highly recommend getting along to this wonderful portrayal of British spy-ism.
As a special incentive, there is a $22 opening night price tonight, 2 August at 8:00 p.m (normally $30 full, $27 concession)

Sorry for the tardy post, Company Theatre NZ, but thank you for a wonderful evening at the opening night of "Home Land" by Gary Henderson on Friday 16 August.

If you haven't had a chance to get along to see this, please do yourself a favour and get in before it closes on Saturday night.

It's not a big name play, a big name playwright, or a particularly catchy sounding synopsis, but WOW! this play packs an emotional punch!

The humorously cantankerous, deaf, old lead character is someone we all know and love, and the family dynamics are incredibly recognisable.

This play has chuckle-worthy lines and tear-producing moments, all well delivered by the cast of Max Golding, Mark Jensen, Chloe Luise Smith, Kate Watson, Andy Schmidt and Madeleine Park under the guidance of director Siân Davis.
