Happy Easter whānau🐰❤️

This week, our tamariki enjoyed different Easter themed activities. We made hot cross buns, decorated easter eggs, went out for egg hunt, face/arm paint and singing & dancing along with bunny songs.

Kia ora and Dia dhuit Whānau/family!

Today, we celebrated St.Patrick's day at Kindy. Our tamariki had fun with getting a green shamrocks face/arm paint. At mat time, we learned about the symbols and celebration culture of the St.Patrick's day (shamrocks, leprechauns) and read Irish story book "The warrior king Brian Boru".

A huge thank you to our tamariki, parents and whanau for your generous donations for the Big Heart Day. The donations will go to The Heart Foundation to help fun life-saving research and plan future projects. ❤️

Our tamariki had so much fun learning and talking about how to keep ourselves healthy - eating healthy food, doing exercises, looking after our wellbeing and just be happy 😄💪🍎🍉🥦🥕🫑🍠🥔🥑

Kia ora Parents, Caregivers, Families/Whanau

With the possibility of further weather damage leading to more disruption, the Secretary for Education has directed that schools, kura, early learning services and Tertiary institutions in the Auckland region (Wellsford to Pukekohe) must close for physical attendance and instruction until 7 February.

Kinderhaven Preschool will not be open this week, and we will let you know if there are any changes.
