Dear Magic Bus Families ( Ikawai Run),
The Bus Trust has another bus organised for tomorrow and the next few days until the Magic Bus is fixed.
It is a new bus to the trust, e.g. just purchased last weekend and will replace the Flames Bus in time. However at present it does not have seat belts in each seat as these will be put in when not in use.
Having seat belts in buses is not NZ LAW but a Bus Trust recommendation. If your child travels on any other bus they would not have a seat belt.
If you would prefer your child NOT to travel on the bus then you are welcome to bring your child to school until the Magic Bus is fixed.
Otherwise the White and Blue Flamed bus will collect your child tomorrow and until needed from the usual time and use place.
A big thank you to the Bus Trust for a quick replacement bus for your convenience.
Many thanks

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
A quick reminder that tomorrow is Book Character Dress Up Day! We can’t wait to see the children bring their favorite storybooks to life. If you’re looking for costume ideas, classic characters like farmers, princes, and princesses are always a hit!
Additionally, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army Food Bank this term. If you’re able to, please send a canned good with your child to support this wonderful cause tomorrow.
Warm regards,
Kate

We are excited to announce that tickets for our upcoming Shrek production are now available for purchase at the main office for $10 each.
Please note that seating is strictly limited to 340 seats, and we anticipate a sold-out run. We encourage you to secure your tickets as soon as possible.
Matinee Information: For families with preschool-aged children or those who cannot attend the evening performance, we recommend attending our Matinee performance on Wednesday, September 23rd at 11:00 AM. Admission for the matinee is by gold coin donation and tickets can be bought at the school. Seating for this show is particularly limited due to attending local Waimate schools, so please visit the office promptly to secure your spot.
We look forward to a fantastic evening of entertainment!

Dear Parents
1. Please make sure you text the bus driver if your child is not on the bus. My bus drivers have been waiting at our gates and no children turn up.
2. Please make sure you are at your bus stop 5 minutes before the bus should arrive. Not waiting in your house but at the gate. My bus drivers are having to wait too long for your children.
3. The bus driver will only be waiting 1 minute at your driveway so make sure you are on time.
FLAMES BUS DRIVER- From tomorrow Mrs Lynn McCulloch will be driving the Flames bus (Morven) until Friday 21st August.
Please text her and let her know if you are not on the bus. Phone number in email sent today
Many thanks

Tomorrow is wheelie Day. I have promised the senior children that I would take them down to the Bike Track at Glenavy.

So if your children are Year 4 or above and are confident bike riders Mr Ross, Mrs Gardner and myself will take them down to the bike track during lunch time.

Students must have a bus vest, Helmet and be confident riding a bike.
