Our mission is to educate students and parents to become confident and competent carers and educators of Newborn Infants, Toddlers and Young Children.

Bodhi is a NZQA registered Private Training Establishment that offers 2 courses in Early Childhood Education & Care. An Infant and Toddler Care Certificate (Level 2) that is run through Ohana Young Parent Charitable Trust, where Mothers and their Newborns attend a 2 day a week 10 week course. Also the New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Level 5. That is an exclusively online

course, where all content and assessment is completed online. So you can study from anywhere you at a convenient time for you. Graduates of the New Zealand Diploma in ECE, Level 5 will have many career options available to them. You will have the skills, qualification and experience to begin a career in many areas related to Infants, Toddlers & Young Children.
• In-Home educator, you will be qualified to care for a group of children in a home environment.
• Nanny, nationally or internationally.
• Baby Consultant, which are now highly sought after, giving advice to new parents on feeding, sleeping and routines.
• Night Nurse for those parents requiring support or just some much-needed sleep.
• In-home help for mothers of multiples (twins, triplets etc.), or mothers suffering from postnatal distress disorder (PND)

The New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Level 5 is a pathway to gain credit toward further ECE qualifications. These pathway qualifications will be on offer at Bodhi in 2018 and 2019. Including the New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Level 6 & 7 that will credit toward the Bachelor in Early Childhood Education that we also aim to offer.

Our NZ Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (Level 5) gives you 40 weeks of deep learning from home, paired with hands-on practice in a licensed early learning setting.

Plus, your credits set you up on the pathway toward a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and full teacher registration!

Crafts like this are fantastic for fine motor practice, color recognition, and creative expression. More importantly, they offer a gentle, age-appropriate way to introduce concepts of hope, care, and supporting our community.
