We were treated to a musical and drama filled afternoon put on by some of our Year 6 MKids who had been part of a 3 day Chamber Music New Zealand workshop.
Many of our tamariki had never played an instrument before or performed in front of an audience. They should be very proud of what they have achieved in such a small amount of time.
Thank you to Cathy & Justin from CMNZ for sharing your expertise and talents. Our MKids loved it, starting out shyly on day one to performing to an audience of around 400, all thanks to your passion for creativity.π
Nga mihi to our fabulous teacher aides Kym & Lisa for all of your support too. We loved how you both got so involved over the 3 days and you even graced the stage yourselves!ππ
Finally to our fabulous MKids who used all of their REACH Values over these last 3 days. You all showed true resilience by pushing yourselves out of your comfort zones and we are incredibly Mangapapa Proud!ππ

Just a reminder that Vanessa our Public Health Nurse will be at school from 2pm every Thursday, so yes she will be in tomorrow. A fantastic opportunity for our whΔnau.
Don't forget it's going to be a Pyjama Party this Friday, so it'll be pyjamas all day! Also our Mangapapa "famous" Shop Day makes a return this Friday too!
Keep those donations of Winter woollies and pjs coming in too whΔnau. There are going to be some very happy tamariki who will benefit from your manaakitanga.
Right that's a lot of sharing from us today, enjoy your evening whΔnau!ππ

Mr Jean-Louis and Mr Adams are so incredibly proud of you all. You gave it everything and although you have left the comp a bit bloodied, battered and bruised, it just goes to show how much effort you and your opponents put in! Love it! πͺπͺ

Music & Drama in the whare!πΆπ
Such a fantastic opportunity for many of our year 6 MKids provided by Cathy & Justin from Chamber Music New Zealand (CMNZ). Three days of creativity, music, dance and drama, with our tamariki really stretching themselves to get out of their comfort zones.π
