Ko wai ka hua ko wai ka tohu? Ko ngā tamariki katoa me te kēmu whutupōro te toa. He mīharo te rangi nei, kua whiti mai a Tamanuiterā, kua whiti hoki i ngā tamariki.
What a awesome day yesterday at the rugby 7s tournament at Waikirikiripark! The sun was shining, and so were our tamariki. Although we lost most of our games, they showed determination, resilience, and great sportsmanship throughout the day.
A huge thank you to our whānau for their support, and to Vitez for your mihi today, awesome mahi, e tama. Big congratulations to our Players of the Day, Kereama and Wairua. We are proud of you both and all of our tamariki.

Awesome day today. We were very fortunate to have the Tairāwhiti Waka whānau visit and teach about voyaging waka, waka taurua (double-hulled canoes), knot tying, the different parts of the waka, reading the stars, observing birds, understanding tides, winds, and the sun for navigation. The tamariki greatly enjoyed learning from the whānau and gained valuable insights into this important mātauranga Māori. The whānau also told us that they will return in the summer to take the tamariki aboard the waka at Te Wherowhero. We are all very excited and eagerly looking forward to this waka experience.
