Welcome to Lytton High School, join us as we watch where the light first shines! At Lytton, we just get on with it. Simple, really.

This Thursday in Te Hīnātore there will be a Subject Selection EXPO for all Year 10, Year 11 & Year 12 students. Students are asked to come ready to ask questions in the different learning areas so that they select the subjects correct for their 2027 pathway.

Also on Thursday, we are holding a Civvies Day (non-uniform day) to support Daffodil Day. All proceeds will go directly to the Cancer Society. We encourage all students to wear yellow and bring a gold coin donation to support this worthy cause!

Friday is a Teacher Only Day so students are able to stay at home and we will look forward to seeing them again on Monday.

We are so proud of our Deputy Head Girl, Capria Tamatea, who represented our Kura at the Business Hall of Fame Awards held earlier this month.
Capria was flown to Auckland where she stayed with high school peers from around Aotearoa.
Tasked with introducing Hall of Fame Inductee Sir Robert McLeod, Capria was fortunate to meet both Samantha Hayes and Nicola Willis.
A huge thank you to the Young Enterprise Trust, and particularly the Regional Coordinator for Tairāwhiti Nikita Skipper, for providing ngā rangatahi o te Tairāwhiti with these incredible opportunities.
