What a way to end term 1 with our uri placing 3rd in NZ secondary Kī-ō-rahi Nationals this year. We are absolutely proud of each and every one of you. You played with heart, resilience, passion, spirit, and devotion, representing our kura, our whānau, and our iwi with honour.

He kaupapa whakahirahira tēnei te hokinga mai o Te Pou o Hinematioro ki tōna ūkaipō ki Ūawa, ki te poho o Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti.

He tino waimarie a mātou uri o Te Kura ā Iwi o Manutuke i tae atu ki tēnei kaupapa nui. I whai wāhi ki te tū, ki te tautoko, ki te ako i raro i te maru o ngā kuia, ngā kaumātua o Rongowhakaata me Te Tairāwhiti whānui.

I kitea te kaha o te whakapapa, te mana o te taonga, me te whakahokinga mai o te mauri ki tōna kāinga tūturu. Ko ngā kōrero, ngā karanga, ngā waiata, me te manaakitanga o te haukāinga, kei whea mai!
