๐ธ BANDQUEST 2026! ๐ถ
What a fantastic night for our Campion musicians at Bandquest 2026, with two of our bands taking to the stage and doing us incredibly proud!
๐ต False Alarm
Frankie Allen โ Lead Guitar
Lenore Blake โ Violin
Daphne Dela Torre โ Drums
Amanda Macmac โ Rhythm/Acoustic Guitar
Sofia Limaโ Bass
Andi Mananagan โ Vocals
False Alarm performed Kiss Me by Sixpence None the Richer and Zombie by The Cranberries. Their performance was energetic, confident and just a little theatrical! They certainly looked the part too, with their own professionally made band shirts featuring a logo they designed themselves.
Their style, presentation and fantastic opening were recognised with the Rockstar Styles Award! ๐๐ค
๐ต She Said
Ailish McGuinness โ Vocals
Indy Blaker-Kilpatrick โ Bass
Summer Wright โ Drums
Dani McGoverne โ Guitar
She Said performed Yellow by Coldplay and When I Come Around by Green Day, bringing a beautifully gentle and sweet interpretation to both songs. Ailishโs soft, delicate vocals gave the songs a completely different feel, supported wonderfully by the rest of the band.
Most importantly, our musicians had an amazing time and embraced the opportunity to perform, create and share their music on stage. What a great experience for them all!
Ka mau te wehi, False Alarm and She Said! We are incredibly proud of you all. ๐ถ๐

Thank you, Kiwi Gaming Foundation!
A huge thank you to the Kiwi Gaming Foundation for granting Campion College $2,000 towards transport costs for our students attending the AIMS Games.
For our young athletes, the AIMS Games are an exciting opportunity to compete, challenge themselves and proudly represent Campion College alongside students from across Aotearoa.
Getting our students there comes with significant costs, and support such as this helps make these experiences possible and more accessible for our families.
We sincerely appreciate the Kiwi Gaming Foundation's investment in our ฤkonga and their sporting opportunities.
Ngฤ mihi nui for your generous support! ๐๐

Thank you, New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT)
Campion College is very grateful to the New Zealand Community Trust for a generous grant of $10,000 towards travel, accommodation and uniforms for Secondary School Tournament Week.
Tournament Week provides our students with fantastic opportunities to represent their College, challenge themselves and experience competition beyond our region. However, attending these events also comes with considerable costs for teams and whฤnau.
This support makes a real difference in helping our students access these opportunities.
Ngฤ mihi nui to the New Zealand Community Trust for your generosity and for supporting our Campion College ฤkonga. ๐๐

Thank you, Grassroots Trust
We are incredibly grateful to Grassroots Trust Central for a generous grant of $23,688 to Campion College.
This funding will go towards new netball and basketball hoops, as well as supporting our Year 12 Physical Education trip to Blue Mountain Adventure Camp.
Grants such as this allow us to provide our ฤkonga with quality facilities and valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom that may otherwise not be possible.
A huge ngฤ mihi nui to Grassroots Trust Central for investing in our young people and supporting opportunities for our students to learn, participate and thrive. We are extremely appreciative of your generosity. ๐๐
