SHUFFLE FOR THE AUNTIE$
Saturday 26 September
You’ve seen those seriously addictive shuffle videos—now it’s your turn to learn the moves!
We love to dance, and here’s an opportunity to add to our dance skills which can only make us better dancers!
Join Julie Walker and Jaeda Mapu, aka The AUNTIE$, for a fun and supportive 90-minute workshop covering the foundations of shuffle, including the Running Man, T-step and simple transitions.
Shuffle is fantastic cardio and a great way to develop coordination, rhythm, balance and footwork. Once you understand the basic building blocks, you can begin mixing them together, creating combinations and dancing to all kinds of music.
Julie and Jaeda are the 2026 Hip Hop Unite NZ Masters Duo champions and have qualified to represent Aotearoa at the Hip Hop Unite World Championships in Tauranga this October.
AFTERNOON WORKSHOP
2:00–3:30 pm
$15
Then come back that evening for:
BACK TO THE DANCEFLOOR
A ’90s, 2000s + Party Rock dress-up dance party featuring line dancing, hip hop, pop, R&B and plenty of dance-floor favourites.
Workshop participants will also have the chance to join us in a special group shuffle video during the party. Completely optional—but a brilliant opportunity to put your new moves into action!
EVENING PARTY
$20
WORKSHOP + PARTY
$35
This event is a fundraiser supporting Julie and Jaeda—The AUNTIE$—on their road to the Worlds.

**HELP US SHAPE THE RnL TIMETABLE**
We’re having a look at our class timetable and would love your input.
We’d like to know which of our current Beginner class times work best for you, as well as whether there’s interest in an ongoing Absolute Beginners class or Absolute Beginner weekend workshops.
Even if you’re happy with your current class, your feedback is really useful. And if you’re not currently dancing with us but have been thinking about giving line dancing a go, we’d especially love to hear from you too.
It’s a quick survey and will help us make decisions based on what people would genuinely be able to attend.
Thanks for taking a couple of minutes to have your say.
