Hello! My name is Myiah Balbin and I’m a Geosciences major with a minor in Archaeology. I studied abroad with Baylor in New Zealand during summer of 2026 and returned with a whole new appreciation for the life around me. Through this program I learned how to embrace the present and let my curiosity guide me through new cultures respectfully. From pre-departure to post, BiNZ continues to have a lasting impact on my time as a student, leader, traveler, and friend. Hi! My name is Sahasra Vootla, and I’m a Psychology major on the pre-med track! I studied abroad in New Zealand during summer of 2026, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Studying abroad really taught me to pay attention to the world around me and step out of my comfort zone. Not only was New Zealand exciting and educational, it also introduced me to some amazing people that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. I could not recommend studying abroad more, especially in this beautiful country.
