All proceeds go towards upgrading the Fordell School playground, a vital hub for children to connect, play and thrive.

We'd also like to say a big thank you to MY Plumbing Depot Whanganui who provided JJ Roofing Ltd Whanganui with the flat sheet iron that was needed to make the flashings for the building repairs.

In October last year we applied to JJ Roofing to be the recipient of the Running of the Balls 2024 proceeds for local registered charities. We were going to use the funds to fix the roof over our sleep/ quiet room which we noticed had been leaking. Unfortunately we were unsuccessful with our application. However, they approached us directly as part our their “giving back” to the community initiative. The job turned out to be bigger than we all anticipated, they had to not only fix the roof but replace the cladding at the side of the building around the window too. Now it's all done and finished to a great standard. Thank you JJ Roofing Ltd Whanganui we really appreciate everything you have done for us at Fordell Preschool.
