Notice of Special General Meeting
Please be aware that a Special General Meeting for the FAHS OPA will be held:

Date:7th April
Time: 6pm
Location: FAHS Council Chambers, FAHS Feilding High School.

Purpose of the Meeting:

The purpose of this meeting is to consider and, if thought fit, pass a resolution to begin the process of winding down and formally closing the organisation, as there are no members available to continue in governance or operational roles.

Agenda:

Explanation of the current situation and lack of office bearers
Consideration of a resolution to wind down the organisation
Appointment of a person or committee to oversee the winding-up process (if required)
Any other relevant business
Proposed Resolution:
“That FAHS OPA commence the process of winding down the organisation in accordance with its constitution and any applicable legal requirements.”

All interested Old Pupils are encouraged to attend.

In July, our committee called a meeting to discuss the future of the FAHS Old Pupils' Association (OPA). We agreed that the best way forward is to hear directly from those who know FAHS best—our past and present pupils. Your insights will guide the direction and priorities of the OPA for years to come.

The FAHS Old Pupils Association has played an important role for years at Feilding High School. But in today’s fast-paced world, with social media at our fingertips, is there still a need for such an organization?

On Wednesday 9th July , we’ll be discussing the future of the FAHS OPA. The current committee has done its job, and now it’s time to hear from YOU. We need others’ help to keep the tradition going or innovate something fresh.

Come along and have your say on Wednesday, 9th July at 6pm in the Council Chambers at FAHS.

ABOUT
It's been 40 years since we started as 3rd formers, so let's get back together before it's too late! This is a party with an 80's theme and there will be a band playing tunes from that decade. Optional 80's dress up. All proceeds to Kia Toa Kia Ngakaunui fund to help Feilding High students reach their full potential. This is not a formal event, it is a party for catching up with old friends
Ticket price includes finger food and band. Drinks will be available from bar with cash and eftpos.
If you are interested in having a look around the school to walk down memory lane or see how it has changed, there will be tours at 4pm. The bar will open when the tour has finished so the socializing can start.
Limited tickets so get in quick.
