Bee Curious is our Curriculum Framework, built on the strong foundation of the Te Whāriki. It celebrates curiosity, supports intentional teaching, and helps our tamariki grow in confidence, creativity, and capability.

Kia ora whānau

Our kaiako have kicked off the year in our monthly team hui to host a curriculum lead advisor from the Ministry of Education to support us to use a teaching tool that supports our Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whāriki. We are exploring using Kōwhiti Whakapae to reflect on how our team use teaching practices within mathematics, literacy, and social and emotional learning.

During last night's session, kaiako brainstormed their focus in each room for supporting social and emotional development and what teaching strategies each room is going to focus on based on the needs of our tamariki.

We love the collaboration and time we get to spend together as a team ensuring we provide the best early education to your tamariki at Busy Bees Feilding.

Fresh flavours, happy tamariki - our Summer Nourish Menu is in centre now! ☀️🌽🍓

Our fabulous centre cook uses our Nourish menus to provide food that is minimally processed, avoiding recipes high in added sugar and instead using fresh, real, and wholesome ingredients.

We are also extremely proud to be enrolled in the Tohu Manawa Ora | Healthy Heart Award programme with the Heart Foundation, which supports our ongoing commitment to promoting healthy food and physical activity. 💗
