When Allah intends to guide someone....

𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬. 🤲

Among the blessings of Jumu‘ah is a special hour in which a Muslim’s sincere du‘ā can be answered.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“In it is a moment in which no Muslim stands to pray and asks Allah for something but that He will give it to him.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 935, Sahih Muslim 852

The Prophet ﷺ indicated that this time is very short.

So don’t let Friday pass like any other day.

𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐝𝐮‘ā. 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝. 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞.

Perhaps the answer you have been waiting for is closer than you think.

May Allah accept our du‘ās, forgive our shortcomings, ease our difficulties and grant us what is best for our dunya and Ākhirah. Āmīn. 🤍

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧?

Your family will return.
Your wealth will be left behind.
But your 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Three things follow the deceased: his family, his wealth and his deeds. Two return and one remains. His family and wealth return, but his deeds remain.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 6514; Sahih Muslim 2960

Everything we spend years building in this dunya will eventually be left behind. What we take with us is what we sent ahead.

So before chasing what will eventually disappear, 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡.

A sincere prayer.
A charity given quietly.
A good deed.
A beneficial piece of knowledge.
A righteous child who remembers you in du‘ā.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝. 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬.

🤲 May Allah forgive our shortcomings, accept our deeds, and grant us a beautiful ending. Āmīn.

Early Universe in a state of ‘Smoke’

The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of “smoke” i.e. an opaque, highly dense and hot gaseous composition. This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists can now observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that “smoke”.

The illuminating stars we see at night were, just as was the whole universe, in that “smoke” material. God has said in the Qur’an:

ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ

“Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke…”

Modern cosmology describes the early universe as an extremely hot, dense state, and scientists study the evolution of matter from these early conditions into the stars and galaxies we observe today.

Remarkably, the Qur’an describes the heaven at an early stage as “smoke.”

Allah ﷻ says:

ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ

“Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke…”
📖 Surah Fussilat 41:11

The verse invites us to look beyond what we see and 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞.

The Qur’an repeatedly calls us to observe the heavens and the earth, to think deeply, and to recognize the signs of our Creator.

𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐤𝐲. 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐧. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫?

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘄 𝗶𝘁? 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗱.

A glance that no one noticed.
A thought that you never spoke.
A feeling hidden deep inside your heart.

People may only see what you show them, but 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹.

Allah ﷻ says:

“He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the hearts conceal.”
📖 Surah Ghafir 40:19

This verse is a powerful reminder that 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵’𝘀 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

He knows the glance we try to hide.
He knows the intention behind our actions.
He knows what our hearts keep secret.

So even when nobody is watching, 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴.

Because He is.
