If you can still access your account but suspect unauthorized activity, go to "Settings" > "Security and Login" and review the 'Where You're Logged In' section. Log out from any unfamiliar locations.
If you're locked out of your account, you can report it to Facebook.

Review your account settings, especially your privacy settings and app permissions, to remove any changes the hacker might have made.

If your account was used to send out spam or malicious links, let your friends know that your account was compromised and to ignore any suspicious messages they might have received from you.

Since your email is often tied to your Facebook account (and other online accounts), make sure it is secure. Change the password, review settings, and consider enabling 2FA for your email as well.

Always be on the lookout for phishing attempts, suspicious links, and other security threats. Keep your password unique and complex, and consider updating it periodically.
