We had fun in the sun today!!!

Who else is enjoying this beautiful weather?

One of our favourite sandpit activities is to make erupting volcanoes.

Working together to build the volcano and then taking turns to scoop the baking soda and vinegar to make the eruption.

We are heading out to Glenlothian farm on Monday so won't be at the centre, if you are wanting to visit please come next Thursday 😀

Hi everyone, this is a wee post to ask for help.

We are in desperate need of replacing our patio blinds, as you can see from the photos they are pretty worn out/broken/split and a continually need to be tied back when the wind whips through and breaks the cable ties....

So we were wondering does anyone have any old (but in better condition than these) patio blinds, they just need to keep the wind and rain out so we can make the most of the patio during winter.

Ideally we need 3; there used to be 3 but one was cut down years ago due to it being too damaged.

I can supply measurements if needed but as long as we can secure them to the poles we would happy as.

Or, does anyone know if a company that would donate blinds, or donate funds to go towards replacing these.

Appreciate any tips/donations/contacts.

A wee reminder the orders for fries need to be in by Friday evening, this week.

Once we have confirmed how many bags we have sold we will have a delivery date for you.

Fries will need to be collected on the day (to be advised) within a few hours of delivery. They arrive frozen and we have no way to store hundred of bags of fries. In the past, the delivery time has been around 4pm so we will aim to do that again this time, however we do have to work in with their delivery driver.

Welcome back everyone!!

Our first session for Term 3 today was perfect! The sun was shining, kids all happy and excited to be back with their friends.

We enjoyed a beach/sea messy play set up with coloured salt for the sand and blue cornflour gloop for the sea. The tamariki helped to choose the animals for the set up, hence the pig at the beach 🐖 🌊

Painting outside, some sandpit play, lots of swinging and catching up with our friends.

Visitors welcome to pop in anytime, sessions are Monday and Thursday 9am til 1pm.

That's a wrap for Term 2.

We had a fantastic last day of term with our friends at Leeston Playcentre. The tamariki enjoyed pushing themselves out of comfort zones, zooming round the bike track, meeting new friends, singing songs and playing games at the park.

Thanks to the Screamin beans coffee van for calling in and keeping us all cafeinated ☕️

Enjoy the school holidays everyone, I look forward to seeing you all back on term 3 😁
