Certificates and awards were handed out in each class - and we weren't able to take photos of all of them. but we managed some!
The Friday Automotive class was on we managed to take.

We had a great last day for our OSTC students. It was different to normal, due to Covid, with no ceremony with teachers and whanau, but we all managed to have lunch together in our Manaaki restaurant. Many thanks to Nicky and the Cookery students who gave us some fantastic food.

Big River construction students have forged ahead with the house they are building, and have finished the interior. They have moved on to building a new office for Big River Homes.

Sport and Exercise students have been working on their coaching sessions, making up games and keeping up their personal fitness. Befreo lockdown they spent some time in the Op kitchens cooking as part of their Nutrition unit. The have also been visiting gyms around Dunedin, to learn about Fitness enterprises.

The Cookery students have been busy with cooking delicious things, and Nicky has been assessing them. Lots of time in the kitchen after lockdown.

The Police Pathways students have been working on their fitness at the Tapuwae gym at the Sargood centre, over the winter. In addition, they have been learning about Mental Health, and interviewing techniques.

The Automotive students have been working hard, both before and after lockdown. They have been learning about circuits with Elliot, and then in term two, Des has been taking the class, and they have been working in the fabrication workshop.

The Beauty Therapy students are spending time in the Salon, being assessed on their techniques.

Back from lockdown, Term three has been busy, with the Construction students spending their time in the big carpentry barn, building sheds.

The Otago Secondary Tertiary college managed to get through lockdown, and came back for the last three weeks of Term 3. Some classes carried on online, and some did some assigned tasks at home. There was quite a lot of theory completed. Here are some of the Sport and Exercise students enjoying some online activities.

The level 3 Constructions students at Big River started at the beginning of March, and they are finishing the house that was started last year, and will go on to their own project soon. The house looks very different already!
