Boys making the most of the snow day

We had our final of clan basketball tonight, which Macgregor won, Wallace was 2nd and Bruce came last.

Some amazing shots from the 3 point line, especially from the junior boys who were worth double points.

Year 9 boys busy in prep, some getting tutoring from senior boys, while others work on their science fair projects.

A huge congratulations to these junior boarders who have been part of the hockey team who came 5th at Tanner cup and are the highest ranked South Island team. Great work guys.

We are looking for a live-in house assistant to start with us next term, working with our junior boarders 25-30 hours a week, with cheap rent and food.

You will be helping with prep and some of the nighttime shifts and helping to mentor the boys.

Great to see old boy and staff member Charlie Breen make his debut in Tuesday. The boys enjoyed a change up from prep to support him on debut, great game to watch as well.

Boarding House Clothing for 2026

The Head and Deputy Head Boarders have come up with some options for boarding house merchandise for 2026.
Each price includes GST, and we need a minimum of 10 orders for each item for it to be made.
Please check your emails for the link put an order in.
Please add size in the space provided (Sizes are XXS-7XL and are all adult sizes). Orders close on Monday, 22nd June at 3pm.
Boys will need parents to send an email through to me to approve that they are happy for the clothing to be charged to the school account.

Congratulations to the players selected for the New Zealand Under 16 Men's Ice Hockey Team.

The National Under 16 Men's Team will compete in the domestic Under 18 league, and following the first round, a squad of 20 players will be selected to participate in the 2026 Pan-Pacific Tournament later this year.

Just a reminder the parents function is this Saturday the 23rd at Lone star, start time is 5:30pm and it is in the upstairs Saloon bar due to numbers
