At St Mary’s we use the latest research into literacy and follow a structured literacy approach. This means that all children including children who shows signs of neurodiversity are supported and nurtured through the process of reading and writing. Play based learning in our Junior space supports this approach and allows for children to transition seamlessly from early childhood learning into primary based programmes. At St Mary’s our goal is to ensure that every child is given every opportunity possible to develop and grow through our inclusive and holistic curriculum. We prepare our learners to belong, believe, and achieve with confidence to meet the challenges that life brings.
