This week, we mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe. ‘There are places where history was written, yet hardly anyone knows them!’ - The Keys to Freedom 🎬 German director Wim Wenders has shot a short film 🎞️ that takes us to the most secret place in Europe at that time: a map room in a school in Reims, France, which served as a war room for the Allies. On May 7, 1945, N**i Germany surrendered there and the world war ended. 🗝️ Today, “The Keys to Freedom” are more than just a museum piece. The question is how we use them today.
