This week Carolyn is running a bespoke professional development session on-line with Teacher Aides from a secondary School in Dunedin supporting a student to learn about their body and getting dates.

Carolyn first met the student and discussed their interests and wishes for relationships & s*xuality learning support and to get their approval for Carolyn discussing this with their teacher aide support team.

Carolyn develops sessions according to these identified learning outcomes for the student and accomodates the comfort levels of the team supporting them.

Critical Disability Studies Research Network invites you to a November Seminar Series

CDSRN is hosting a second seminar series every Friday in November. This year’s seminar series theme is “Hope in Surviving Neoliberalism.” The series brings together researchers and disability activists from across Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond. Together, we explore the challenges facing the disability community, as well as the theories and practices that support the community in navigating these challenges.
