We’re a friendly local Toastmasters club where people practice communication and leadership skills in a supportive, relaxed environment.

Whether you’re confident already or absolutely terrified of public speaking - you’ll fit right in.

From speeches and workshops to networking and plenty of laughs, the District 72 Toastmasters Conference in Timaru looked like an incredible weekend! Huge congratulations to our members, Esther Haines and Ray Leckie who attended and invested in their growth as communicators and leaders.

Congratulations to Corey Farrell who has recently completed Level 1 of his Toastmasters Pathway, Presentation Mastery at Lunchspeak Toastmasters!

Level 1 of Presentation Mastery includes 4 projects, which include 5 prepared speeches - Ice Breaker, two speeches for Evaluation and Feedback, Writing a Speech with Purpose, and Introduction to Vocal Variety and Body Language + completing an evaluation of another members speech.
