⚽️ Nothing beats finals excitement in football like a penalty shootout to decide the champion!! ⚽️🥅🏆

🤩 Mt Aspiring College Gold were undefeated all season and had control of the OSSSA Central Otago Girls Football final, until Wakatipu HS scored the equaliser in the second half! WHS then went on to take out the win 4-3 in the shootout. Nail biting stuff 😬😬😬

Cromwell College also came home strongly, securing the win 4-0 against Mt Aspiring Black, to take out 3rd Place.

Dunstan High School are in a building phase, so was great to see soo many new faces to the game giving it a go! Well done girls 👍

Thanks to Rowan Dunnet for refereeing many of the games, and to Chris Rhoades for stepping in for the finals. Much appreciated guys!

What an incredible week of ice hockey in Dunedin, with plenty of skill, determination, sportsmanship, and school pride on display throughout the tournament. A huge congratulations to all teams who took part and contributed to a fantastic event.

NZSS Boys Football Linwood Tournament 🏆

What a fantastic week of football at the NZSS Boys Football Tournament in Dunedin ,concluding with a thrilling final to wrap up the week !

After a challenging start with some difficult weather conditions, it was great to see the skies clear and the tournament finish on a high, showcasing the outstanding talent, sportsmanship, and determination of all 20 teams involved.

A huge thank you to all players, coaches, managers, referees, volunteers, and supporters who helped make the tournament such a success. Your flexibility, patience, and positive attitude throughout the week ensured the event ran smoothly despite the early weather challenges.
